Meals on Wheels Partnership

Meals on Wheels brought Mary to our attention. She is physically disabled and very poor materially but rich in her love for the Lord. For more than 2 years, poster boards covered holes in her walls but her biggest concern was her door locks. They didn’t work. Anyone could have broken in leaving her feeling vulnerable and unsafe. And sadly, the evidence of a dishonest contractor lurked since there were no doors leading to any of the rooms in her house. But because of the compassion from people who care and the labor from True Texas Women, Mary now has new sheet rocked and freshly painted walls,  newly painted cabinets in her kitchen, and new doors and locks for the doorway openings in her house.
