Six Flags Over Texas Partnership

For Joyce Pitts, Friday the 13th was her lucky day. Luck had nothing to do with it but donations, prayers and the help from Six Flags employees did!

Joyce has been deaf since she was 3 years old and by God's grace has been able to live alone. She used to walk up and down her street in prayer, asking God to send someone to help repair her house. Seen wearing purple in the picture here, 1242434her niece Beverly quotes Joyce as saying, "I'm so happy they came to fix my home."

Six Flags employees lent their hands and can do attitudes for an entire work day!1242462 Joyce's house received a fall face lift, which included scraped and painted window frames to showcase her 16 cleaned, sparkling windows! The most meaningful and touching part of the day was seeing Joyce right there, working along side everybody. She couldn't hear anything but the "Joy" that came from within her spoke loud to our hearts!

There was no better way to spend a Friday and we were all so blessed to give to Joyce, especially during the Thanksgiving season! Thanks for giving so we can continue our mission of changing peoples lives.
